Thanks to Dad realising that low tide is really low at the moment, on Sunday we had an expedition walking all the way round the cliff base from Studland to Old Harry Rocks. It was an amazing experience seeing the rocks and cliffs from a different perspective, just a shame it clouded over at the crucial moment!

We went to Shaftesbury today and while the missus was being pampered I took the opportunity to walk around the town taking photographs. I've just bought a Contax Zeiss 35-70 3.4 lens and I'm really pleased with the results so far.<br />

The Postman

It should really be a baker's delivery boy pushing his bike but a postman will do! This is an unusually quick turnaround for me - it usually takes me months to get round to processing pictures! The Stuff of Nightmares

This is a house in an abandoned village on a precarious cliff top in Oman. I would love to have spent more time wandering round because it was an amazing and photogenic place. It's really dark in these houses, and very creepy! There are loads of dark recesses, discarded rubbish, and long cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There are also lovely wall paintings as well - there is one beside the door in this photo.
